500 hundred and fifty hundred million dollars lol
545k for a house?!?!
with that income they could pay it of within 4-5 years if they were more comitted
How in the flip did they get the mortgage with that amount of dept. And the cars are crazy as well.
Why do people announce that they have a “what would Dave do” call? Isn’t that literally every call? It’s a show to get advice from Dave!
She can’t even say 546,000 right
The student loans are soul crushing. And if her husband is at 130k and they have a household income of 160k-180k that means her 300k student loan is only getting her a 30-50k income for now. Lucky she married someone with a decent income.
A lawyer in debt can be very dangerous.
As a lawyer she ranges from 25k-65k????. How is the husband making more money ??. At that point just quit the practice and join another well built one. Plus, they can pull this debt off sooner.
Is this a repost? Coz I feel like I've heard this story before. Sacrifice for few years and you will be OK once you get this huge burden of debt off your shoulder.
It could be worse. The chiropractor said he was a doctor.
Including the mortgage, they are a million dollars in debt.
Holy Sh*t!!! I hope it was worth it! How do you make that much money and end up in this much debt?!!
Don't call Dave if you really don't want the advice!
Government loves ppl in debt! Money in their pocket….
Solid advice, part financial planner, part psychologist.
0:41 ”Five hundred and forty six hindered thousand dollars.”
Looks like this lady was never bright when it came to numbers.
i'm 43 years old with $12,000 in credit card debts and a combined student loan with my wife debt of $115,000. Also, i own my car, own a home valued on the market at $365,000 but still owe $315,000 on it. I make about $108,000 a year (disability and Government job) and my question for you Mr. Ramsey, is can you help me?
The problem is many people still try to impress others, and maintain false images of themselves to remain in cliques, and REALLY refuse to downsize, sacrifice, and live within or below their means!…..first of all…..I would not have rush to buy a house….and those (most likely bmws or some other luxury car) iI would have never purchase…….Until that student loan debt of 300,000.00, was paid off …I would have rented an apartment, brought nice used cars! My main focus would have been living simple, paying off that student loan, saving money for emergencies, retirement, having no credit card debt!….Then once that student loan was paid off, or at least in half…..I still would not have gotten any credit cards, brought new/used affordable cars, and buying a home would not have happened until thst 300,000.00 was paid off.
As a Canadian I find this fascinating, $546,000 + $407,000 in Canadian dollars = $1,269,157.00 worth of debt…that's impressive.
Her student loan cost more than a Lamborghini ?
I’d get out of that house and sell the cars and I bet she has a very full walk in closet !!! I worked in retail for 20 years. I know the type. Lots of women see new clothes every week as a NEED not a WANT !! Same thing with smokers. They include those cigarettes in their grocery budget every week ?????????
